The US firm, Praxair Inc., the largest industrial gases company in North and South America, with sales of US$ 5 billion, named Stephen F. Angel to the newly created position of executive vice president. In a press release dated 16 April this year, Praxair said Angel was most recently general manager of General Electric Co.“s (GE) power equipment business. Angel will oversee Praxair“s industrial gases operations in Asia and Europe, in addition to other management responsibilities.
