The Poltava medical glass factory posted a net profit of UAH 23.527 million for 2007. The factory“s assets totaled UAH 108.464 million at the end of the year, and its current liabilities total UAH 2.470 million. The company specializes in the production of USP type 1 hydrolytic medical glass, glass tubing and derived items such as ampoules, vials for antibiotics and insulin, and volumetric laboratory glassware. The factory is the largest manufacturer of this type of glass in the Commonwealth of Independent States and Baltic countries.
