UK glass major Pilkington is to expand its Mitterberghuetten production unit at Pongau, in northwestern Austria, by installing new annealing lehrs, it was reported on 21 December 2004. Pilkington plans to create 35 new jobs in Pongau. The company said it had no plans to move production to the Czech Republic.
