Pfeiffer Vacuum extends its number of subsidiaries with a new facility in Moscow. The purpose of the new facility is to enable the company to be closer to its customers in the Russian Federation and neighbouring countries and to be able to serve them faster. The Russian subsidiary will therefore house sales and service units as well as a warehouse. It is a part of Pfeiffer Vacuum“s strategy to broaden its presence in Eastern Europe and support this region“s industrial development with fast product availability and its own service staff. Pfeiffer Vacuum CEO Manfred Bender notes: Russia and its neighbours are an important growth market for us across all market segments. The research sector has traditionally been especially strong there. But also local vacuum system manufacturers and the entire field of industrial applications are highlights in a good overall market environment. Pfeiffer Vacuum is one of the world“s leading manufacturers of components and systems for vacuum generation, measurement and analysis. Founded in 1890, Pfeiffer Vacuum is today together with Trinos Vakuum-Systeme active throughout the world with a workforce of some 870 people as well as 14 subsidiaries and over 20 agencies.
