Pennekamp: Go Hybrid – electrify your gas-fired lehr

What if you could transform your existing gas-fired lehr into a hybrid system? With Pennekamp ConveX E, you can.

ConveX E combines an electric heating element with a circulation system, allowing existing gas-fired lehrs to operate with:

  • Fully electric operation
  • Fully gas-fired operation
  • Or a flexible combination of both

The system can be retrofitted to existing lehrs equipped with circulation fans — including Pennekamp lehrs as well as those from other manufacturers.

  • Easy retrofit: Remove the existing circulation fan, insert ConveX E and connect it to the control cabinet. No mechanical modifications required.
  • Up to 85 kW connected load, with the maximum heating output adjustable according to the available electrical capacity and the heat requirements of the lehr.
  • When operating electrically, ConveX E enables CO2-emission-free operation, supporting the transition toward green manufacturing, with a 100 percent reduction of CO2, NOx, CO and NO.
  • With self-generated solar energy, the lehr can run entirely on solar power during the day. If sufficient solar power is not available, the lehr can automatically switch to gas heating.

One lehr. Two energy sources. Maximum flexibility.
