Owens Corning has been named as the primary insulation provider to the Masco Contractor Services business of the Masco Corporation. The agreement, which expands the companies“ relationship, provides Owens Corning with access to a substantially wider network of builders and homeowners through Masco“s position as the leading insulation installer in the US. The agreement will also serve as a catalyst to impact energy efficiency through sharing of building science knowledge and the pursuit of opportunities to collaboratively shape and advance energy policy legislation and standards. The combined strength of Owens Corning“s extensive US manufacturing footprint and more than 150 Masco Contractor Services locations provides builders with broader access to an integrated portfolio of insulation products that are both energy-efficient and deliver value. These products include Owens Corning“s industry-leading EcoTouch and EnergyComplete insulating solutions. Owens Corning EcoTouch insulation is a new class of high-performance residential and light commercial insulation made with 99% natural materials, a certified minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled content and 50% total recycled content, and a formaldehyde-free formulation.
