Germany-based Angel Natural Energy Bio drinks – the first ever bio-certified energy fruit juices – are exclusively available in 250ml glass bottles made by O-I. The US-based glass packaging manufacturer announced in a statement that its success in breaking into this challenging market, which is dominated by other materials, is down to its design expertise and to the unique properties of glass. We decided to use O-I to produce our bottles because the company is flexible and meets our high quality standards, explains Anja Bettin, Angel Drinks managing director. O-I sales team member Lars Moche says: We take it as proof that we are on the right track towards increasing the share of glass packaging in the non-alcoholic beverage market segment.
