Vidrios Lirqun, the joint venture between NSG Group, Saint-Gobain Glass and Inversiones Pathfinder, has announced that it will build a new float line in Lima, Peru. The project will allow Lirqun to consolidate its leadership on the south Pacific coast of South America, according to a statement from NSG. The plant will have a daily output of 800 tons to supply Peru“s automotive and construction markets, and is due to come on stream during 2014. The new facility will enable Vidrios Lirqun to support the growth of both the Peruvian and Chilean markets, and will be the second float line owned and operated by Vidrios Lirqun.
