NorthGlass Automation has successfully secured the contract for Shaanxi Hong Glass Innovation Materials’ intelligent and digital production line project, which covers cutting, grinding, tempering, laminating, insulating glass process with a support Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
The project will adopt NorthGlass Automation’s proprietary smart factory solution, delivering a fully integrated digital production line covering laser marking, cutting, grinding, tempering, laminating, and insulating processes.
A centralised MES platform will be deployed alongside the line to enable unified production management and real-time data integration. Once completed, the project will enable the customer to achieve fully unmanned and intelligent operations from raw glass storage through to the insulating glass line, creating a highly efficient, seamlessly connected, and collaborative manufacturing environment.
Leveraging NorthGlass’ 30-plus years of expertise in glass deep-processing equipment and technology, NorthGlass has developed a mature smart manufacturing ecosystem centred on automated warehousing, intelligent logistics, and MES integration. Winning this project once again demonstrates the market’s confidence in the reliability, innovation, and technical excellence of NorthGlass Automation’s smart factory solutions.
NorthGlass will continue to leverage the smart factory as a platform to drive the glass deep-processing industry toward higher efficiency, environmental sustainability, and smarter high-quality development.
The project covers a total land area of 28,552 square metres, with a planned total investment of CNY 215 million. The plan includes the construction of approximately 2000 square metres of high-standard smart factories and a 3,000-square-metres office building, along with fully supporting production and warehousing facilities, aiming to build a modern, smart, and eco-friendly industrial park.
