Slovakian Nitrasklo a.s., a manufacturer and seller of insulation glass based in Nitra, posted sales of SKK 484.2 million (EUR 16.07 million), up 15% year-on-year in 2007. The company reported an increase in production costs from SKK 290.2 million (EUR 9.633 million) to SKK 333.7 million (EUR 11.08 million). Added value generated in 2007 increased from SKK 132.2 million (EUR 4.388 million) to SKK 151.2 million (EUR 5.019 million). According to information in the Commercial Bulletin, Nitrasklo earned net profit of SKK 38.4 million (EUR 1.275 million), compared with SKK 24.9 million (EUR 826,500) in 2006. The company“s assets totaled SKK 182.7 million (EUR 6.065 million) in late 2007. Nitrasklo, a.s. Nitra was enrolled in the Commercial Register of the Slovak Republic in March 1991. It produces and sells insulation glass and deals with production, refining and sales of goods containing glass. Its share capital is SKK 20 million (EUR 663,000) and it runs two operations in Slovakia: one in Nitra and the other in Kosice. The company is a member of the French group Saint-Gobain, SA.
