The National Glass Association (NGA) announces the election of Steven R. Burnett to the office of Chairman of the Board. Burnett, of Walters & Wolf Curtain Wall of Mukilteo, Washington, has been a supporter of the NGA for many years, having served on the board since 2005. Burnett took the office of Chairman on 15 September 2010 at GlassBuild America in Las Vegas, NV. He will serve a one-year term. New executive officers are Chairman-Elect, Chris Mammen of M3 Glass Technologies of Irving, Texas, and Treasurer, Bill Evans of Evans Glass Company of Nashville, Tennessee. Kevin McMahon of K-Man Glass Corp. Bethel, Connecticut, will serve as immediate past chairman. Leaving the board this year are: o Stephen Mort, Don“s Mobile Glass o Greg Pattakos, Advanced Auto Glass o Robert Trainor, Trainor Glass Company New members of the board are: o Michael Albert, S Albert Glass Company, Inc., Beltsville, Maryland o Bryan Bush, City Glass Company, Omaha, Nebraska o Mark Dawson, Glass Doctor, Waco, Texas o David Steele, The Window Gallery, Augusta Georgia o Tom Trainor, Trainor Glass Company, Alsip, Illinois Board members returning for the 2009-2010 term are: Robert Brown of Brown“s Glass, York, Pennsylvania; Bill Evans, Jr. of Evans Glass Co., Nashville, Tennessee; Paul Heinauer of Glasspro, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; Douglas Linderer of Go-Glass Corp., Salisbury, Maryland; Newton Little of ACE Glass Company, Inc., Little Rock, Arkansas; and John Morris of Jack Morris Auto Glass in Memphis, Tennessee. Founded in 1948, the National Glass Association is the largest trade association representing the flat (architectural) and auto glass industries, with over 3,000 member companies.
