How biomethane could play a key role in Northern Ireland’s drive to net-zero was a key talking point during the recent visit to Encirc by the leader of the Democratic Unionist Party, Gavin Robinson MP. The leader was accompanied by MLAs Deborah Erskine and Phillip Brett.
Some of the challenges facing the glass industry such as and creating a circular economy in NI were also discussed in a very constructive meeting.
This engagement comes after the visit of Economy Minister Conor Murphy and Minister for the Environment, Agriculture and Rural Affairs Andrew Muir to Derrylin before Christmas.
