Organized by Fiera Milano in collaboration with Fiera Milano International, the Autumn edition of Macef will be held from 8-11 September this year in Milan, Italy. Over the years this six-monthly consumer goods trade fair has come to represent the best of “made in Italy” products for the home, though it has also acquired international importance. At Macef Autunno 2000 3,500 exhibitors will be participating in a net area of 139,000 square metres, making it the largest edition of the fair in terms of space since it first started. Around 700 of the exhibitors will be coming from outside Italy and at least 80,000 visitors are expected to attend. The show will be organized according to the traditional lay-out, which specifies nine trade sectors, each with its own colour code, to help visitors find their way more easily among the different halls and stands: – Gold/Silver; – Table Culture; – Kitchen; – Casa & Housing; – Bonbonires; – Crafts; – Pictures, Frames, Mirrors, Prints, Miniatures; – Flowers, Artificial Plants, Basketry and Wax; – Trade.
