Luxe Pack Shanghai 2012 has changed dates to accomodate a national holiday, and will take place 28-29 March (Wednesday and Thursday), at the Shanghai International Convention Center, instead of 3-4 April as previously announced.
Luxe Pack Shanghai has announced that the 2012 edition of the event will take place 28-29 March (Wednesday and Thursday), at the Shanghai International Convention Center, instead of 3-4 April initially announced.
Behind this change of timing, is the recent official notice from the Chinese government, on the Tomb-Sweeping holiday: 2-4 April 2012 will be legal holidays in China.
Chinese traditional festivals are always set by the lunar calendar, so the dates change each year. In addition, the Tomb-Sweeping Day has not been an official holiday for a long time; it became a holiday recently, because the government intends to develop domestic consumption.
As a consequence of this announcement, the 5th edition of Luxe Pack Shanghai is brought forward, remaining at the Shanghai International Convention Center.
