The German location of Japanese Kuraray Group, in the Cologne/Bonn area, is strengthening its sales activities, and looking for a sales manager (male or female), for the glass industry in the Middle East, UK, and other. Duties will include operative responsibility for the processing and servicing of customers in the sales territories; acquisition of new customers and the tapping of new markets and segments; creation and development of a network within the glass industry; lobbying and cultivating contacts with the relevant industry associations; sales and market planning; monitoring and analysing the market and the competition. Personal qualifications and key attributes of candidates are: university degree (economics or engineering sciences) and work experience in relevant fields; several years of marketing experience as well as proven success in the autonomous servicing of a sales territory; excellent knowledge of languages (English, German, other foreign languages); pronounced communication, service and organizational skills and high intercultural competence; strong willingness to travel.
