Specialists were able to obtain a material that has the same state of carbon as in diamond. This result was achieved by creating high-pressure conditions and extremely high temperatures, reaching about 6,700°C and higher. According to a special technique, the material is kept under such conditions for a long time, and after that it immediately cools down.
