Quanex has strengthened its Extruded Solutions leadership team with the appointment of James Dadd as Vice President of Marketing.
James will oversee strategic marketing for the Extruded Solutions division, serving the fenestration, fire safety and HVAC sectors, leading the global teams behind industry-leading brands such as Edgetech, Liniar, Avantek, and Schlegel to drive growth and market innovation.
Commenting on his appointment, James said, “It’s been an incredibly exciting start and from day one I’ve been made to feel very welcome by everyone across the business. The strength of the Quanex brand portfolio is exceptional.
“There’s a huge opportunity to build on the strength of these brands and increase collaboration across the group and with customers to ensure our innovation story is clearly and consistently communicated.”
James brings more than two decades of senior product, marketing and digital strategy experience, gained across a range of global organisations.
Most recently, he served as Vice President of Product and Marketing for JELD-WEN Europe, where he led strategic initiatives across a EUR 1.2 billion product portfolio, managing both direct and indirect retail and distribution channels.
