Bucher Emhart Glass hosted the engineering team of its German IPGR (International Partners in Glass Research) partner and Veronica Tortella, the new plant manager from the company’s esteemed customer Bormioli Luigi of Parma, Italy, at the Bucher Emhart Glass Training Center in Sundsvall, Sweden.
The representatives took part in an AIS training course for mechanics and gained practical experience on the recently installed Smartfeeder.
The next step for some of the trainees will be to attend operational training at the research centre in Windsor, CT, USA, with the flexibility to run a machine, make changes, stop and start at no loss to production.
