Investcorp has signed a memorandum of understanding confirming its intention to purchase a 72.96% stake in German group Gerresheimer Glas from Viag. It is expected that the purchase will be completed by mid-June. Gerresheimer Glas is a European leader in the manufacturing of speciality container glass for the pharmaceutical, laboratory and cosmetic industries. Investcorp and its clients own five corporate investments in Europe.
