Polish glassworks HSG Irena informed 3 February 2005 that it had appointed Slawomir Jedrzejczak as its new president following the dismissal of Boleslaw Felczak for undisclosed reasons. Slawomir Jedrzejczak was general director of local cutting tools maker Fenes. HSG Irena, set up in 1924, made its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) in 1992. HSG Irena increased its consolidated net profit to PLN 5.0 million (USD 1.6 million/EUR 1.2 million) for January to September 2004 from PLN 3.5 million (USD 1.1 million/EUR 872,000) a year ago.
