Horn Glass Industries AG has received orders for three large-scale projects in three months, two for container glass furnaces and one for a 500 tonnes per day float glass furnace. Vetropack Gostomel has chosen Horn to rebuild its furnace no. 83 in Gostomel, Ukraine. The project comprises turnkey delivery and construction of a glass melting furnace including three forehearths and delivery of the complete equipment (without refractories) and construction work, including commissioning. AMBEV Brazil is building its first container glass furnace for beer bottles in Brazil, and has chosen Horn to deliver the glass melting furnace and forehearths. The project comprises complete delivery, including refractories, as well as turnkey construction. Both projects are to be supplied in spring 2007, while commissioning is scheduled for the second half of 2007. Salavatsteklo Russia has ordered another float glass furnace from Horn following the successful entry into full production of the first furnace at the end of November 2005. Commissioning of the second float furnace is scheduled for the end of 2007.
