INA, the Croatian oil monopoly, has demanded the bankruptcy of HIRS, the Lipik-based Croatian glassmaker, due to a debt of HRK 30 million (US$ 3.6 million/EUR 3.9 million). HIRS also owes HRK 6 million (US$ 718,000/EUR 779,000) to HEP, the Croatian electricity monopoly and wages for six months to its 330 workers.
