India“s Hindustan Sanitaryware & Industries Ltd. has reported a net profit of Rs 16.05 for 1999-2000, registering a 18.1% rise from Rs 13.59 in the previous year. The turnover increased by 10% to Rs 182.13 (Rs 166.12). The operating profit registered an increase of 16.6% to Rs 39.87 (Rs 34.19). Profit before tax stood at Rs 18.25 (Rs 17.59). Reserves rose to Rs 97.77 (Rs 84.49), showing a 15.71% increase. ICRA has reaffirmed the rating of “A1+“ (A one plus) to HSIL“s commercial paper programme of Rs 25.
