On 1 January 1996, the German company Proglas, began its cooperation with the engineering company Hermann Fller, also of Germany. This partnership enables Proglas to offer machines and technology for all production steps from the hot-end (feeders, presses, etc.) to the cold-end (automatic cutting for decorative glass). Within the last 10 years, explains Proglas, the company has gained special know-how in controlling and optimising the production flow and the quality of the glass production. The Proglas “PROAXA” cutting machines and the CAD system “CrystalCAD” are being used by many famous European glassworks. Before entering into the new cooperation with Proglas the company designed its own glass machines for another larger vendor of glass production machines. Together both partners will develop top quality, innovative machines and technology. Their target is to make the production of various kinds of glass much easier, for example, stemware, bottles, giftware and container glass. From now on, Proglas will be the partner of glass workers for the entire production process, from treating the molten glass to the decorative cutting. Proglas states that the benefits for the glassworks are obvious. They get the best solutions since all pre-sales consulting and the after-sales service is provided by Proglas“ specialists. Planning, engineering and design come from only one source. Ordinary employees are soon familiar with Proglas machines, adds the company. They are easy to use thanks to the extensive use of computer technology. The permanent availability of the equipment is of vital importance for all glassworks. Proglas provides many services for the entire line of machines, in order to secure the return on investment. According to the company, Proglas and Hermann Fller form a creative and skilled team. Their experience and practice is made available to achieve the goal of providing increased quality and perfection at less expense.
