Heineken Presents New Bond-Inspired Packaging

Beer brewer Heineken has created a collection of limited edition bottles, which will go on sale at the same time as the upcoming release of the movie Skyfall. Heineken’s products will include the image of James Bond to commemorate their collaboration on the series.

Beer brewer Heineken has created a collection of limited edition bottles, which will go on sale at the same time as the upcoming release of the movie new James Bond film, Skyfall. Heineken’s products will include the image of James Bond to commemorate their collaboration on the series.

The special edition STR bottle (33 cl) is characterized by its high quality and elegant design. The impeccable aluminum finish includes a black light technology that makes the label shine and highlights the hidden silhouette of a Bond Girl. These specialty bottle will be available through specialty food chains, such a hotels and restaurants.

The formats for sale in the food channel also present new developments in their package design. Heineken has incorporated the image of James Bond in six-pack cans (33 cl), six-back bottles (25 cl), and in the new six-pack bottles (33 cl). These James Bond limited editions will be available during the months of October and November.

With the launches, Heineken consolidates its long and successful collaboration with James Bond during the same year that the film series celebrates its 50th anniversary, generating huge levels of excitement. Heineken has for the first time secured the participation of the film’s protagonist, actor Daniel Craig, in the global campaign ad, “Crack the Case,” a globally distributed commercial featuring Bond and a hapless stranger both being involved in a train-bound chase, with a special cameo from an old face familiar to long-time Bond fans.
