US-based glass manufacturer Guardian has announced plans to build a USD 112 million float plant in Russia“s Krasnodar region. The plant is reportedly to be built on a 30-hectare site in the town of Krasny Sulin. The plant“s projected annual capacity is 700,000 tons. Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2009 – early 2010 and be completed by 2012, Marchmont Capital Partners said.
