Guardian presents improved SunGuard Architectural glass sample box

SunGuard architectural glass sample system has been redesigned to provide a more efficient way of evaluating Guardian’s expanded portfolio of advanced architectural glass products and coatings.

Guardian has redesigned its SunGuard architectural glass sample system to provide architects and designers a more efficient way of evaluating the company’s expanded portfolio of advanced architectural glass products and coatings.
“We used the introduction of new glazings this year as an opportunity to improve our architectural sample system,” explains Chris Dolan, Director of Commercial Glass Marketing for Guardian Industries. “We went from two boxes to one but still show the full product portfolio of low-E, high performance coatings, as well as tints and substrates, in a more attractive and efficient presentation.”
Every Guardian SunGuard coating – including the new SunGuard SNX 51/23, which boasts an unbeatable combination of medium light transmission, low solar heat gain and low reflectivity for commercial applications – is included in the sample box. Using the coatings, tints and substrates in combination broadens architect options when evaluating aesthetic and performance requirements and solutions.
Improved packaging better tells the SunGuard story through project images and in a single, comprehensive box to display all SunGuard coatings. Previously, architects and Guardian architectural design managers (ADMs) had to inventory and transport two Guardian sample boxes. By slightly reducing the size of the insulated glass unit (IGU) samples, Guardian has consolidated two boxes into one, making transport and inventory of samples much easier for everyone.
