Sonicam, the world leader in mould shop machinery became part of Groupe Rondot on 1 October 2011.
Sonicam, which is based in France and was founded in 1976 by the owners of a mould factory, manufactures mould and plunger polishing machines, grinding machines and mould gauging machines.
Since its founding, Sonicam has developed and produced machines to fit the needs of the mould manufacturers and the mould maintenance and repair workshops in glass factories. Sonicam has become a household name in glass factories where at least three out of four plants in the world have a Sonicam machine in their mould shop. Sonicam will continue to operate independently but will now be supported by Groupe Rondot’s sales network.
