MSC & SGCC, the international provider of hollow glass inspection solutions, strengthens its team with a new CEO appointment – Max Hodeau. Following these globally difficult economic times, Max Hodeau“s new position at MSC & SGCC is perceived as a strategic move forward to bring new answers to hollow glass market needs and constraints. Max Hodeau, 53 years old, started his career with 13 years spent at IBM Corporation working in development and operations activities. He brings 15 years of executive level experiences across passive components, consumer products, household appliances and automotive sectors. Initially, MSC and SGCC are two major players of the hollow glass inspection market with truly similar paths. Both firms started inside two famous glassmakers, BSN for MSC in 1963 and Saint-Gobain for SGCC in 1973. A new internet spare part catalog will be launched in April. 2. has moved all its SGCC people from its historical location, rue du Fosse Blanc in Gennevilliers, to a more efficient site in the same city. 3. Among that, MSC & SGCC is opening a new facility in Russia. With more than 600 machines delivered over the last five years, MSC& SGCC Russia Ltd. will be able to be closer to its customers with local after sales (already in place) and a spare part stock. With regards to R&D, all developments linked to Multi inspection machines such as Check +, M and Quick machine are concentrated in the site of Gennevilliers (SGCC) and all vision machines developments are concentrated in the site of Vourles (MSC).
