Glass Performance Days (GPD) Finland 2011 gathered together over 830 participants, glass industry professionals from all over the world. The amount of practical workshop participants reached its all time record (330). The organization of the Glass Expo received lots of positive feedback. Nevertheless, the most important aspects of the conference still seem to be the numerous networking opportunities on offer. Once again, the event was unlike any other in the glass industry. The mind-opening conference sessions, innovative workshops as well as professional networking at the exhibition and in the relaxed atmosphere of the evening activities All these set the standard for future conferences and will bring a smile on faces when looking back to summer 2011 – what the organizers call the GPD spirit. The GPD team thanks all participants warmly for being an important part of the conference and enabling the GPD spirit to grow even stronger.
