GlassPrint 2009, the leading event in Europe for the decoration of glass, took place in Germany at the end of November 2009, and was attended by 40 delegates from all over Europe. With the current economic climate in mind, expert speakers recognized the importance of adding more value to the end product and provided a range of presentations on the very latest advanced technologies for glass decoration. Decoration, a key process in the manufacture of architectural, automotive and hollow glass, was presented to attendees by means of a conference synopsis covering screen, digital and pad printing made up of 14 conference papers. In addition, a keynote address was made for both the flat and container sectors. The conference programme also included an accompanying tabletop exhibition of leading suppliers of products and services. GlassPrint 2009 was sponsored by Glass Global, SGIA, SGCDpro, L“Institut du Verre, Feve, Deutsche Glastechnische Gesellschaft (DGG), and was jointly organized by ESMA and Glass Worldwide.
