Glassman programme now complete

The upcoming edition of Glassman South America, which will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, 12 and 13 March, will have numerous products and services on display, as well as a total of 28 papers during its conference programme.

The Glassman South America conference programme is now full.
A total of 28 papers will be presented at the event, which takes place 12 and 13 March in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Among those speaking are O-I Brasil, Verallia-Cetev, Bucher Emhart Glass, Heye International and Abividro – the Brazilian glass association.
Some of the numerous products and services on display include:
Moulds, blanks, components and finishing, with products on show from Ross International – Moldes Medellin, in the forefront of investments regarding high speed 5-axis technology, CI/8620 welded products, increased foundry speeds, latest version of CREO 2.0 software & 3-D printing technology.
Air Pollution Control will include the third generation of Maguin’s CerCat filter, which has an further optimized design thanks to CFD study and finite elements calculations, improving the structure and thermo mechanical strength to increase the resistance at high temperature operations.
This latest generation of CerCat filter has been in operation in Central America since March 2013 for Vical Group and will soon be supplied in Europe to major groups such as Verallia, Yioula Glassworks.
Cost-efficient protection of glass moulds with Höganäs’ new 30-35 HRC nickel base powders for cast iron substrates.
