The organisers of Glassman America 2004, dmg world media, have confirmed an additional 970 sq. feet (90.1159 Square meters) of exhibition floorspace has been made available due to demand from potential exhibitors. With over 120 exhibitors having already confirmed their attendance, Glassman America 2004 promises to be one of the biggest in the event“s American history. On Tuesday 18 May 2004 two workshops have been scheduled. Training Session ONE is titled “Compressed Air – Best Practise” and takes place between 11.00am – 13.00pm. Training Session TWO is titled “Process Heating – Best Practise” and takes place between 15:00pm – 17:00pm. On Wednesday 19 May 2004 Training Session THREE is titled “20 Major Energy-Saving Tips – Best Practise” and takes place between 11:00am – 13:00pm. The workshops will be delivered by key industry individuals with a wealth of industry experience and visitors will have the opportunity to put questions to the speakers. Details of speakers have yet to be confirmed and the organizers reserve the right to amend the programme without prior notice, however updates will be available from www.gmic.org and www.glassmanamerica.com The GMIC are also organizing a conference which takes place on 20 May 2004 at the Wesin Hotel, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. “Glass Refining – Future Technologies” is expected to appeal to glass manufacturers and the industry“s plant/equipment/materials suppliers. Glassman America 2004 takes place on 18-19 May 2004 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
