Danish facility services company Glarmestrenes Dognvagt A/S will provide glazing repair services for Danish insurance company Tryg Forsikring as of 1 April 2004, it was reported on 14 April 2004. Some 10,000 instances of glass damage are reported to Tryg Forsikring per annum. Glarmestrenes Dognvagt has taken the contract from Danish sector company ISS Danmark. Tryg Forsikring selected Dansk Glarmesterlaug because of its nationwide network of 320 glaziers and carpenters, enabling a prompt response to requests for repairs, said Jesper Rasmussen, responsible for the damage and valuations divisions at Tryg Forsikring. During its co-operation with Tryg Forsikring, ISS Danmark acquired a number of glazing services companies, but the coverage provided by its network was too limited for the needs of Tryg Forsikring.
