Double-digit rates of annual growth are being recorded in the prefillable glass syringe market. Gerresheimer, number two in the global market, is now stepping up its production capacity and investing around EUR 20 million in a fourth production line for prefillable syringes which will be completed in 2012. The new line will then provide annual capacity for up to 120 million syringes. We are a successful supplier of syringes to pharmaceutics customers around the world. Now we are investing in this fast growing market again to consolidate our global market position further.
