The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has released two new technical resources for the industry. The first – The Protective Glazing Manual – is a jointly-written manual by industry experts from GANA and the Protective Glazing Council (PGC) International membership, which focuses on the protective glazing industry, its products and applications, along with the standards and levels of protection they provide. There is also a detailed section on the care and cleaning of protective glazing products, and a comprehensive glossary of terms and applications. The second is the Guide to Architectural Glass 2010 Edition, produced by the GANA Flat Glass Manufacturing Division (FGMD). This guide, which was previously known as the Specifiers Guide to Glass, is a five-year update and overview of architectural flat glass, its properties and versatility in applications. According to GANA, it is one of its most downloaded documents. Each manual is available on the GANA website at USD 25 for GANA members, and USD 50 for non-members of the industry.
