For the year to 31 March 2001, Japanese medical glassware firm Fuji Glass is forecasting a net loss of JPY 10 million on sales of JPY 3.7 billion. These figures compare to previous-year results of JPY 3.9 billion in sales and a JPY 31 million net profit. For the half-year to 30 September 2000, Fuji Glass announced sales of JPY 1.84 billion and a net loss of JPY 22 million. For the same six months of 1999, Fuji chalked up sales of JPY 1.92 billion and a JPY 3 million net profit.
