Forel Spa: 2025 revenues reach EUR 80 million

Forel, an Italian leader in machinery for flat glass and insulating glass processing, closed 2025 with revenues of EUR 80 million, up slightly from EUR 79 million in 2024. This result confirms the company’s growth trajectory and the consolidation of its international presence, with 75% of revenue generated in foreign markets.

During the past financial year, Forel also launched a major investment plan, allocating more than EUR 20 million to strengthening its corporate infrastructure and reaffirming its commitment to innovation through the filing of two new patent applications.

International growth was once again one of the Group’s main development drivers in 2025, with Forel now present in more than 70 countries worldwide. Its key markets include Italy, the United States, Germany, Spain and Belgium. In Germany, Forel further strengthened its presence with the opening of Forel North Europe, a new subsidiary based in Mönchengladbach. Dedicated to supporting sales and service activities across Northern European markets, the new branch ensures a direct presence in an area that is becoming increasingly strategic for the industry.

“Over the years, we have worked to diversify our geographic presence, consolidate our long-established markets and enter new ones, building an increasingly widespread presence closer to our customers,” said Riccardo Vianello, CEO and Vice President of Forel. “In an international environment marked by tensions and uncertainty, this strategy enables us to face the challenges of the global landscape with greater strength and to continue on our growth path. At the same time, we have always believed that growth must be underpinned by the ongoing evolution of our organisation, the strengthening of skills and continuous investment in innovation and technological development. The actions undertaken last year and during the first half of 2026 are fully aligned with this direction.”

Throughout 2025, this vision translated into an extensive expansion programme involving both the company’s facilities and its research and development activities. In this context, Forel allocated a total of EUR 21 million to enhancing its infrastructure. The projects included, in particular, the expansion of its headquarters and production site in Vallio di Roncade, Treviso, which became fully operational in recent months, the improvement of employee facilities, including the company canteen, and the refurbishment of the headquarters façade. At the same time, the company continued to invest in innovation, filing two new patent applications that helped expand its proprietary portfolio, which now includes 33 valid patents.

These investments were accompanied by an increase of 15 employees, representing 5% of the total workforce, bringing the number of people employed by the company to 300 across its Italian headquarters and four foreign subsidiaries.

The results achieved in 2025 represent not only a further consolidation of Forel’s growth, but also the concrete foundation for the company’s new development phase, launched in 2026, the year of its fiftieth anniversary. This path has been made tangible by the inauguration, at its Vallio di Roncade headquarters, of a new 9,000 square metre production wing. This development strengthens the company’s industrial capacity, improves the organisation of its facilities and enables it to respond more quickly and effectively to the needs of an ever-evolving international market.
