First In Glass Industry, Mappi is appointed “powered by Siemens“

Mappi tempering furnaces are the first ever to be labelled “Powered by Siemens” in Glass Industry. Finally intelligent machines are among us!

This was a very special Vitrum for Mappi, they finally removed the veil of the project that has engaged them in the last few months: bringing glass tempering to the future. A result that was possible thanks to the close collaboration with Siemens, a giant in the innovation of industrial processes.
All new Mappi tempering furnaces have a strength that sets them above others and places them already in the future. These furnaces are the first to be “Powered by Siemens” in the glass industry.
In addition to performing their work in an excellent manner, Mappi’s furnaces can communicate directly with the most complex and advanced management systems, these  are the first furnaces to be immediately ready to receive and provide information in real time, to cooperate with contractors to define production timing and methods and edit statistics and keep consumption under control.

They are the first machines ready to implement the features that today are possible by MindSphere, the new platform created by Siemens for those who are not satisfied with complying standards, but are working today to set new limits.

The commitment between Siemens and Mappi is a cooperation that started 20 years ago, strengthened by respect and mutual awareness of being leaders in their field.

Nowadays, Mappi is proud to be the first to receive this award and happy that Siemens has once again chosen the company as a partner in its most advanced achievements. At the same time, Mappi is equally happy knowing their customers will be the first in the glass industry to be able to touch the future.
