The first edition of fensterbau/frontale India, the Trade Fair Window, Door and Facade, will take place at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre, New Delhi, 24-26 February 2011, parallel to ACREX INDIA 2011, India“s most important exhibition for refrigeration, air conditioning and building services. India has 1.2 billion inhabitants on an area nine times as large as Germany. The country has one of the largest economies in the world and an estimated real growth in Gross Domestic Product of almost 9% 2010, coming from the building sector, which has grown by more than 7% over the previous two years 2008/2009 and is one of India“s main sectors. Holding the debut of fensterbau/frontale India parallel to ACREX INDIA will create interesting synergies. In fact, the 11th edition of ACREX INDIA, held in February 2010, had 330 exhibitors and attracted more than 15,000 visitors. Products on display at fensterbau/frontale India 2011 range from profiles, semi-finished materials, materials, production aids, components and prefabricated elements, hardware, fixing equipment, shading and ventilating equipment, machines, installations and tools, operating systems and equipment, to office organization, services, associations, R&D, and technical information. The exhibition will also include the conference on Envelopes for Green Buildings, focussing on energy efficiency, shading, security, temperature and sound insulation, along with a detailed examination of the Indian and international market.
