In an all-Finnish operation, PMA Yhtyma Oy is set to dispose of its holding in the window manufacturer Fenestra within the next few weeks. Managing director Alvar Ahti said that talks were still in progress but were expected to culminate in the sale of Fenestra to Paloheimo. Fenestra manufactures around 300,000 of the 800,000 windows sold in Finland each year and employs almost 600 people. Other companies controlled by PMA include the kitchen fittings company Novart Oy, the door maker Parma Valmiste Oy, the ship cabins and bathroom elements manufacturer Parma Metals Oy and the box elements plant Parmaco Oy.
