Emirates Glass, the UAE“s leading architectural glass manufacturer and a subsidiary of Dubai Investment Group, recently announced an equipment purchase which the company says is set to triple production of tempered glass at its Dubai plant. Emirates Glass has invested AED 16 million (EUR 3.4 million) for a forced convection furnace, as well as additional machinery to expand production. The recent investment includes a Lisec automatic glass-cutting table, second Lisec double glazing line with the latest edge deletion facility, upgrade of the sealing robot, and a Schiatti double-edger and four-holed drilling station for enhanced edge working capability.
