EME delivered and started-up a new 900 scraper with single fork link chain for BA Glass at their production site in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
The main advantage of the single fork link chain is uniform stretching and an operation life that can be doubled by reversing the chain.
In addition there are no bolts, nuts, etc. used to attach the scraper plates thus eliminating the risk of metal contamination in the cullet stream.
