Edgetech, the leading Super Spacer(R) warm edge technology manufacturer is delighted to add to its growing list of accolades with the NRW-Invest Award for Innovation 2011. The annual awards held in Dsseldorf are presented to companies that have really shone in the arenas of innovation, investment, marketing and product development. Andy Jones, Edgetech“s European Managing Director, who accepted the award from the NRW Economic Minister at the ceremony attended by more than 500 guests comments: We are delighted with this fantastic third party endorsement of the success we“ve achieved in Germany since opening our third global WET manufacturing facility in Heinsberg. It“s particularly appropriate to win the Award for Innovation as it“s precisely this continuous improvement and innovation in products and services that has driven our growth. We“ve always been focused on solving problems and one of the biggest challenges facing all of us today, is that of energy efficiency and energy security. Edgetech“s Super Spacer is helping our customers contribute to solving this global challenge in a cost effective way that makes commercial sense to their businesses. This award proves that we are achieivng just this, and we look forward to continuing to work with our customers and the market across Europe as we aim to double our production by 2015. Edgetech“s official opening of its 12,000m2 Heinsberg manufacturing facility was attended by over 150 guests in May, and represents the culmination of a multi-million Euro investment and the creation ultimately of 150 new jobs.
