Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI Nanotechnology), global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, announced on 14 September 2010 the launch of Diamon-Fusion ULTRA, a ground-breaking protective coating offering, the company says, significant durability, protection and reduced maintenance of silica-based surfaces, such as glass, granite, tile, porcelain and quartz. According to independent analysis conducted by Architectural Testing, Inc., Diamon-Fusion ULTRA offers unmatched durability, protection and strength. The tests, designed to simulate years of cleaning, rated Diamon-Fusion ULTRA superior to all major competitors. Culminating years of work by the Diamon Fusion International Research & Development team, the company is officially launching the product at GlassBuild 2010. With the new product launch, DFI now offers three levels of its award-winning coating products: Diamon-Fusion ULTRA, the original Diamon-Fusion nano-coating; and Clear-FusionV each with varying features and durability to meet any customer coating need. Diamon-Fusion ULTRA is currently available in a single-use hand-applied formula, with two additional versions: a vapor deposition version, and a bulk hand-applied version available in fourth quarter of 2010. The introduction of Diamon-Fusion ULTRA gives Diamon-Fusion International and its partner licensees a significant competition advantage in satisfying consumers“ needs, said Adam Zax, president and chief executive officer of Diamon-Fusion International.
