29 July 1999: UK-based Dartington Crystal has unveiled a new collection of glassware to mark the nearing millennium. The collection, which has been called Eternity, contains seven items – five drinking glasses and two vases. Each product, which is made from pure English crystal, features an air-blown eternity ring within the stem and a New Millennium star etched into the base.
