ConservatoryLand has introduced a special self-cleaning roof glass which will clean itself, reduce sun-glare and reflect 55% of solar heat from any DIY conservatory roof.
ConservatoryLand, one of the leading DIY conservatory suppliers in the UK, has introduced a special self-cleaning roof glass to its range, thanks to the collaboration with TuffX, specialized in designing innovative glass. This new glazing type, which comes in a variety of tinted colours, will clean itself, reduce sun-glare and reflect 55% of solar heat from any DIY conservatory roof.
In fact, the glass has a specialist coating which absorbs solar rays and uses them to break down dirt into loose particles, which are dispersed evenly when it rains.
The ambi-bronze tint is specifically designed to allow enough sunlight into the conservatory while reducing the harshness of a bright winter sun, with other colour options being Blue, Neutral and Aqua, all providing adequate sunlight filtering and heat reflection. Moreover, there is also a Satin Privacy option, which appears opaque from the outside but actually allows approximately 84% of sunlight through into the conservatory.
