Conference on Glass Problems: 74th edition

The Conference on Glass Problems is the largest glass manufacturing conference in North America, providing expert lectures, panel discussions, and focused courses on topics including: glass melting, refractories, process control, emissions, raw materials, and other relevant topics.

To take place 14-17 October 2013 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, the 74th Conference on Glass Problems is the largest glass manufacturing conference in North America, attracting glass manufacturers and suppliers worldwide to exchange innovations and solutions. The conference provides expert lectures, panel discussions, and focused courses on topics including: glass melting, refractories, process control, emissions, raw materials, and other relevant topics. A full-day technical symposium on Environmental Issues and Controls will be offered on the final day. Conference registration opens in Spring of 2013.
The 74th Conference on Glass Problems invites engineers, educators, students, and solutions providers working on various aspects of glass manufacturing to submit an abstract for an oral presentation at this premier industry conference.
Selected presenters are required to submit a paper for publication of proceedings of the conference. Those who wish to submit an abstract should download and complete the abstract submission form, to be sent by e-mail to Donna Banks by 1 March 2013.
The Conference on Glass Problems is the largest glass manufacturing conference in North America, and is co-organized by the Glass Manufacturing Industry Council and Alfred University.
