Richard Ginori, the Florence, Italy-based subsidiary of the Pagnossin group (listed on the Milan stock exchange), will market crystal products from Calp“s Da Vinci range. Calp, based in Colle Val d“Elsa, near Siena, Italy is also listed. According to a press report, the agreement which unites two of the most important firms in the tableware and giftware sectors, will open the door to future agreements as regards the joint marketing of each others“ products in foreign countries. “The design and quality of Da Vinci crystal combined with marketing experience and knowledge of the Pagnossin group sector” adds an explanatory memorandum “will satisfy the demand of a particular market sector, with a price-quality ratio which is difficult to match”. The clientle which the two companies expect to attract is in the medium – high spending bracket and couples to be who have to choose a wedding list. “Our objective” explained Carlo Rinaldini, president of Pagnossin and Richard Ginori, “is to uphold production excellence with modern marketing concepts and appropriate business strategy”. We are convinced about this agreement with Calp, which with Da Vinci, expresses the top of the range. “We“re already looking at the possibility of widening the agreement to the most important foreign markets”, adds Mauro Faneschi, managing director of Calp. The synergies between the two groups will improve the business and its value”.
