Three major events of interest to the glass industry have been planned by French exhibition specialists Blenheim, for October and November of this year. The first of these, “dB”, the second edition of an international event for the acoustic insulation and soundproofing sectors, will take place at the Parc des Expositions in Paris, France, from 1-4 October and will deal with noise reduction in residential and industrial buildings. The fair was created two years ago through the efforts of France“s Ministry of Public Works and various professional organisations. Then, from 13-16 November, at the same Paris venue, there will be the fifth edition of Equip“Baie. The fair, which takes place every two years, attracted over 37,000 visitors in 1994, and is dedicated to all aspects of windows, window frames, and solar protection. Finally, from 19-22 November, the 7,600 sq. m. purpose-built China World Trade Centre in Beijing will host China Building 96, a building materials, equipment and technology exhibition. The event, organised by Blenheim in collaboration with the China World Trade Centre, and supported by China“s Ministry of Construction, will be run along the lines of the group“s French exhibition Batimat. A second exhibition, China Security 96, also organised by Blenheim, will run concurrently with the building fair.
